How To Handle Missing Data In Excel Charts !!!<\/p>\n

Ever come across a situation when you have some blanks in data for which you need to create a chart for? Or have any hidden rows or columns in the data? We know that it is very logical how excel create a chart in this situation but sometimes we don\u2019t want to present it in that way. So just to get rid of this we can use one of the below smartest options.<\/p>\n

So let\u2019s start guy\u2019s, Just have a look at the data and the chart we are going to use to understand this.\u00a0 (You can also download the exercise file by following the link at the bottom of this post)<\/p>\n

Click anywhere inside the chart to select it. Now you can see the Chart Tools group in the ribbon.<\/p>\n

Under Design Tab ->\u00a0Select Data<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Inside the Select Data Source, click on \u201cHidden and Empty Cells\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Now in \u201cHidden and Empty Cell Settings\u201d, you can see here that \u201cGaps\u201d are selected by default.\u00a0 Here we can either choose \u201cZero\u201d or \u201cConnect Data points with Line\u201d. Just look at the below screen shots for both options.<\/p>\n
